Abstract
The energy of the impurity state in a semiconductor quantum wire located in external magnetic and electric fields is determined by the zero-radius potential method. The dependence of the energy of the bound state on the magnitude of the electric and magnetic fields is investigated. The appearance of dimensionally induced bound states is absent in the bulk material. The possibility of controlling the energy of the bound state from electric and magnetic fields is shown.
Keywords
