Application of standard cell characterization results in statistical timing analysis

Abstract
 New method of accurate static timing analysis accounting for input slew and load capacitance is proposed. The method fast preliminary standard cell library characterization is considered. It lets to get direct variation parameter sensitivity. Then sensitivity is used during block-oriented method for analysis accounting for input slew and load capacitance variations.
Results of comparison with Monte-Carlo method indicate significant improvement of analysis accuracy using proposed method.
