Route reconfiguration in RapidIO system in case of faulty connections

Abstract
 Multiprocessor systems based on RapidIO interface take a significant place in the industrial and commercial sphere. One of aspects affecting on the reliability of tasks performed is operative condition of all connections in the system, in particular, the connections between the RapidIO devices. After setting the route to all devices in the system for their interaction, the failure of even a link could lead to unpredictable consequences of the performed task. The article describes methods of system initialization in case malfunction of connections RapidIO devices and a comparison of the main criterions. Discussed in detail a static initialization based on the basic blocks and its application for RapidIO testing systems.
