A stick-diagram based standard cell layout synthesis tool

Abstract
	A stick-diagram based flow for standard cells layout synthesis is considered. An algorithm for stick-diagram preprocessing before compaction is proposed. Proposed preprocessing helps to reduce synthesis time, increase number of layouts and evaluate quality of routing without resort to a compaction engine.
