Device for calculation of vector dot product with error correction based on residue number system

Abstract
 The article presents an approach to hardware implementation of dot product operation. The operation is performed in the residue number system domain, which offers the possibility of error detection and error correction via additional modular channels. The description of the device and all of its key blocks, based on effective implementation of direct and inverse residue converters, as well as table-based multipliers is proposed. Tables can be further protected against failures with existing coding methods.
