Abstract
The article describes the approach to the construction of hardware filters with finite impulse response, including the transition to the frequency domain, as well as the principles of residue number systems and number-theoretic transforms. On the basis of this approach a parameterized RTL IP-core generator was implemented. These implementations were also synthesized for different filter orders and input widths. The resulting time and hardware evaluation allow to conclude the effectiveness of the method compared with the standard realization of FIR filter.
