Minimization of the average number of conversion cycles of a successive approximation ADCs

Abstract
 Data conversion operations are analyzed and classified. The new structural solution of a successive approximation ADC is offered. The circuit realization of the successive approximation ADC with a reduced amount of conversion cycles is shown. An average amount of required conversion cycles is estimated.
