Abstract
Authors of this paper within several last years develop the concept of design of IIR filters taking in account the finite wordlength. The concept is based on the revealed fundamental number-theoretical properties of zeros and poles and algebraic properties of the topological matrixes describing structure of filters. In the previous papers research were limited to the analysis of the effects caused by finite wordlength of coefficients. Roundoff noise in these works was not investigated. In this paper the technique of estimation of roundoff noise in the offered concept is presented.
