Implementation of Residue Number Systems Converter Combined with the Rounding Operation for DSP Applications

Abstract
 An approach to the organization of integer-based calculations on modular arithmetic base is described. A formula for calculating the smallest dynamic range for the implementation of the FFT in exact calculations mode, on mutually-prime modules residue codes basis is obtained. Method of combining inverse conversion operation and the final rounding operations is proposed. Coupled with the regime of integer-based calculations it allows one to implement DSP devices with improved accuracy and speed.
