Abstract
Results of the precision integrating Voltage-to-Frequency Converter (VFC) design based on 0.35um CMOS process are presented. Some schematic solutions are suggested and integrated circuit of the VFC is designed based on analysis of factors, which define VFC conversion errors. Designed VFC provides to convert ±9V input voltage with absolute uncorrected error not more than 0.015%. VFC has 19.5-20 bit dynamic range at the output frequency range 0.1Hz-90kHz. Chopper stabilization of a integrator amplifier provides high VFC offset stability at the temperature and supply voltage ranges. Static adjustment of the integrator amplifier offset by on the board correction DAC allows to reduce conversion error at the output frequency higher than chopper frequency.
