Method of small-signal analysis for the simulation of multitone radio frequency circuits

Abstract
 The new approach for the calculation of two-tone radio frequency circuits is proposed. One of the input signal is large and periodic, and the second is small one. The steady-state periodic solution for the large signal is computed by the method of harmonic balance. To provide the small-signal analysis algorithms are developed on the basis of Krylov subspace. They allow to essentially reduce computational expenses of calculation of frequency characteristics. Examples of analysis of typical radio frequency circuits are given.
