Abstract
 The features of the synthesis of control devices for floor technological equipment of railway automation and telemechanics on FPGA. An example of the synthesis of a switch control circuit in the form of a finite state machine on FPGA is considered. It is shown that almost any object of railway automation and telemechanics can be represented as a finite automaton using a logical description of all possible algorithms of functioning (both normal and in case of malfunctions). An example of encoding the states of a finite automaton using a weighted code with summation is also considered, which makes it possible to increase the indicators of functional reliability and safety. The considered method also makes it possible to implement additional control systems, in addition to encoding states, which also increases the safety of the synthesized device.
