The Influence of Contact Resistances on Thermoelectric Generator Output Characteristics

Abstract
 The article explains the calculation method and presents the results of the influence of contact resistances of the metal-semiconductor interface on the output power of a flexible microthermoelectric generator. The calculations were car-ried out using the software platform ANSYS Workbench and Wolfram Mathematica. It was found that contact re-sistances reduce the output power of the thermoelectric de-vice by 67-70%.
