Abstract |
| A method of SAR echo signal digital simulation to generate test impacts on a spaceborne SAR by means of an active transponder for the purpose of radar through characteristic measurements is introduced. Variants of active transponder hardware and software structure are proposed. Typical test pattern simulations containing combinations of singular and surface-distributed targets for measurement technique workout are designed.
SAR spatial resolution and radiometric characteristic experimental determination has been performed using a spaceborne instrument “Condor-E” engineering sample.
Surface-distributed target SAR image analysis techniques for radiometric resolution determination are proposed. |
