Abstract |
| In this article it is considered the method of testing of programs for transient analysis in EDA packages using SPICE simulator (on the example of the programs NI-Multisim, Cadance-OrCAD-PSPICE, SYMICA), on mathematical tests with the exact mathematical solution. Only "difficult" test tasks are considered. Comparison with solvers of ODE systems from mathematical packages is given. It is shown that main lack of SPICE simulator are incorrect results by default (sometimes result is about correct result, but not rather exact in comparison with the set accuracy) without the prevention message for user. |
